Our circuit starts from Gichiengo ,Kijabe junction while traversing through Magina village down to Kijabe section of Kinale forest. This leads us to the lunatic railway which forms the better part of the trek of about 1 hour before reaching to the hot springs and the tunnel commonly known as with local language as ‘Kamungu ka Nduma’ (the tunnel of darkness). If there will be no running water participants can try exploring the tunnel and therefore a flashlight will be of help. From the tunnel, the trek leads us to Kiharu one of the many hills of Kinale forest then up to the waterfalls before beginning our ascend. The ascend is steady and extreme in some section. Following the river line experience the beauty of indigenous forest as it calms. The thick trail up the river finally reveals 5 waterfall cascading down in adventure that you have not experienced in along time. This takes between 2 and half to the top at an altitude of close to 2650m ASL through the cypress plantation. From here we trek for about 35mins through some cultivated farms to exit Nakuru Highway near fly over where our bus awaits
