The Western Breach is a gap, formed by lava flow, on the western outer rim of Mount Kilimanjaro‘s main summit, Kibo. Umbwe -Western Breach trail offers one of the shortest yet the most challenging the climbing to the summit. The core of this route, stretching from Arrow Glacier Camp to Crater Camp, involves several short non-exposed simple scrambling sections . Come walk the floor of this magical crater with us!!!

Visa Application’

Tanzanian Visa can be obtained on arrival at Namanga border point; the cost is USD 50.00 for Non- East African Residents except for the US citizens which is USD. 100.00.

Yellow Fever Certificate

Ensure you have a valid Yellow fever certificate

Water on the trail

We usually source from the streams on the trail, kindly carry some water purifier tablet.
