Mount Kipipiri Forest Excursion

While often mistaken as part of the Aberdares, Mt. Kipipiri stands independently, gracefully detached by Mother Nature from the Aberdares ranges. Rising proudly on the northwest side of the Aberdares, between Geta-bushi and Miharati areas, approximately 150km from Nairobi, it challenges the observer with its commanding presence, overlooking Rurimeria, the third-highest peak in the Aberdare Ranges.

Located near Geta Forest Station, Mt. Kipipiri reaches an elevation of 3348 meters above sea level. The trek to the summit typically takes around 5 hours, while the descent requires 3-4 hours, depending on your energy levels. Cancellation Policy If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled trip departure, 50% of the fee will be charged. If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled trip departure, no refund fees will be provided. No shows are responsible for 100% of trip fees.
