Mount Suswa Crater Excursion

This double-rimmed crater and baboon Parliament caves excursion promise a day of excitement, connection, and self-discovery against the breathtaking backdrop of the Great Rift Valley.

Location: Nestled near Suswa Town along the Mai Mahiu-Narok road, Mount Suswa Crater Excursion Trails showcase a shield volcano in the heart of the Great Rift Valley, making it the perfect day wilderness trip from Kenya’s bustling capital city. The limit is your eyes as you immerse yourself in the mesmerizing beauty of this natural wonder.

As you ascend to an impressive height of 2,356 meters above sea level along the Rift valley, the landscape unfolds, revealing the unique features of Mount Suswa.

The mountain boasts not only its double-rimmed crater but also hides lava tube caves on the northeast side of the outer crater. Join our trail team and fellow adventurous souls for a day in the wild, where fun, connection, and self-discovery await amid the spectacular views of the Rift.

5.00am Depart Nairobi for Suswa expected to arrive at Suswa to start the hike at 8.00am
1.00pm Enjoy your packed lunch or snacks at the peak as you view the scenic surroundings
5.30 pm Leave Suswa Conservancy for Nairobi expecting to arrive at 8.30pm

If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled trip departure, no refund fees will be provided. No shows are responsible for 100% of trip fees.
