Trail Overview:

🚶‍♀️ Starting Point: Njigari Forest Office

Our adventure kicks off at the Njigari Forest Office, a gateway to the untouched wilderness that lies ahead.

🎋 Into the Bamboo Forest:

Step into a world of wonder as you wander through the dense bamboo forest. The towering trees create a canopy that immerses you in nature’s embrace.

🌊 Thuti Falls and River:

Follow the trail to Thuti Falls, a hidden gem near the source of Thuti River. Witness the cascading water and connect with the serenity of this picturesque spot. Thuti River winds its way through Nyeri county, adding to the beauty of the journey as it joins Gura down the valleys into Sagana.

🍽️ Lunch with a View:

Find reprieve in a scenic clearing that offers breathtaking views of Njigari Valley. Catch glimpses of Gura Falls from a distance, enhancing the magic of the surroundings.

🌳 Gitonga Falls:

Njigari Bamboo Forest Trek adds a waterfall chase twist, continue your exploration to Gitonga Falls, where nature unfolds another mesmerizing spectacle. Let the beauty of the falls captivate your senses.

🌊 Following Gura River:

Descend while following the melody of Gura River. The thunderous sound of the river and the harmonious songs of birds will guide you to our finishing point.

If you cancel more than 2 weeks before your scheduled trip departure, a 50% of the fee will be charged.
If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled trip departure, no refund fees will be provided.
No-shows are responsible for 100% of trip fees.
