Nthenge Njeru Waterfall Chase Abseiling in Embu County is a beginner, family and children friendly hike. We head East to the triple gems that flow from the slopes of Mt. Kenya. Kirimiri Forest forms the immediate foreground from the Embu Meru highway. It is the big flowing white that captures and captivates you.

The trail

We start our trek at Melody Camp going down a steep foot trail into the first double waterfall, Nthenge Njeru Falls. We take our moment there as we take all in and let it soak, literally.

We later go up following farmers trails and joining to the village road leading to Kirimiri Forest trail.

We go up Kirimiri forest largely indigenous trees with thick undergrowths covering and the birds charming us aiming for the big White Rock viewpoint.

Then after a while at the peak having for a good rest and enjoying the views we head down on a chase for the 2nd Waterfall Thungu Falls.

Abseiling

Nthenge Njeru Waterfall Chase and Abseiling has one more surprise for you. The 45M Falls will leave you breathless, we also have a moment here watching every drop take a plunge. For those who will abseil will live to tell the experience.
