Wind Farm, Ngong Hills

The huge turbines whirls in endless motion.. the trail for the first 2km is on wide dirt road..

1.5km into the trail and the hills opens you to the amazing views of the Rift.

View of Olo Oroka Plains from Ngong Hills

Down the in the plains you can see the once undisturbed Olo Oroka plains and ranges.. down the valley you can observe a busy dusty road and railway construction sites and extraction activities.. a bit of an eyesore.. however the hills though still retain their charm and beauty.

The Trail from the 1st Hill, Ngong Hills

2km into the trail it narrows into a foot path.. also marking the end of the wind farm. Here you can take a seat at the benches to enjoy your snack as you look into the valley.
